About us
YOKOHAMA MINATO MIRAI HALL is located in Minato Mirai 21, Yokohama's new waterfront city center. It is an area that combines elements of the city's long tradition as an international port with the vibrancy of a newly developed district. The immediate environs of the Hall include a large and popular shopping mall, the YOKOHAMA MUSEUM OF ART (known for its collection of modern art), an expansive waterside park, PACIFICO Yokohama (known as one of the largest convention complexes in the world) and a choice of world-class hotels. Within walking distance are such attractions as the YOKOHAMA RED BRICK WAREHOUSE and OSANBASHI Pier. And the area is a quick hop form Yokohama's famous Chinatown and Motomachi districts.

About Organ Lucy
This organ was built by the American organbuilder C. B. Fisk, Inc in Gloucester MA, USA. The organ has been nicknamed "Lucy", which derives from the Latin word for "light"-a name that matches its brilliant tones. She has 62 voices, a total of 4,623 pipes, celesta, nightingale, and cymbelstern. The design of the instrument aimed to create an ideal organ for allowing works by composers from the period before Bach through our own times to be performed with tone qualities appropriate to each.
