The 43rd Yokohama International Piano Concert

Presented by MMH

The concert will move from the Small Hall to the Main Hall !

The Yokohama International Piano Concert was launched in 1982 by a planning committee composed of leading Japanese musicians and the City of Yokohama. Its purpose is to discover and bring to the attention of a wider audience promising musicians from around the world whose talents point to brilliant futures.
That goal is in accord with Yokohama’s always being a launchpad for new cultural achievements. To date, 199 pianists from 28 countries have performed at this event, including many who have become renowned virtuosos, proof that this it has been achieving its goals.
To perform in the Yokohama International Piano Concert has become the objective of young pianists worldwide. In 2025, this concert will move from the Small Hall to the Main Hall of the Yokohama Minato Mirai Hall.
